Over the past 2 years, I've built a plethora of projects—from developing translation tools to creating a dating app and even engineering a battle bot.
My journey through technology and innovation has been nothing short of exciting.
I’m super interested in startups and have participated in the Irish
ecosystem as a member and alumni of the Patch Talent Accelerator and the
NDRC Pre-Accelerator based at Dogpatch Labs, along with my involvement in the
NovaUCD student accelerator.
Awards and Achievments:
- Awarded the Social Sciences Award at UCD.
- Finalist for the 2023 Undergraduate of the Year - Future CTO of the Year with TikTok.
- Overall winner of the inaugural ISE TECS competition, a pivotal moment in my career.
- Winner at the Irish Student Entrepreneur Forum 24. Won third prize.
- Earned the UCD Advantage Award for leadership and community.
- Recipient of the 2021 Leadership Award at Castletroy College for outstanding community service.
Things I've done with Startups:
- Developed Tenantap at the Patch Talent Accelerator, a platform to streamline the rental process.
- Participated in the NDRC Pre-Accelerator with Brigaid Networks.
- Participated in the NovaUCD accelerator with Brigaid Networks.
- Secured 3rd place at the Irish Student Entrepreneurship Forum at AIB with Brigaid Networks.
- I was the project leader at Enactus; in charge of building a project that served a lot of impact. I led us to the finals in the Enactus UK & Ireland tech4good competition and participating in an international conference in London.
Things I've done in College:
- I'm flying out to Berlin soon to represent UCD with some others at the Una Europa alliance conference. More on this later.
- Engaged with Enactus and represented UCD in London with Brigaid Networks
- I worked for a semester at the UCD Foundation, raising donations to support students with scholarships.
- I tutored Python to Myanmar students underUniversitas21 , UCD Volunteer Oversees, and UCD School of Computer Science.
- I was the Peer Mentor for Stage 1 Computational Social Science students and that's where I met my good friend Bastien, with whom I've worked on numerous projects since.
- I was the College of Social Sciences and Law Ambassador which was pretty cool.
- Worked intermittently as a Risk Analyst at the UCD Student Managed Fund, analyzing risk across various industries for informed investment strategies.
- I was the UCD Campus Abassador for NASA's global hackathon, SpaceApps at TUS.
- I was a Cairde at the Cara Programme helping exchange students settle into UCD and Dublin.
- I achieved the 3rd place at the Investors & Entrepreneurs society starthaton.
- In my Stage 1, I was the Class Representative for stage 1, 2, and 3, Computational Social Science students.
- A friend of mine was in the Harry Potter society and he was the only guy I really knew at UCD at the time so I hopped on and ended up as their freshers' representative in semester 1 and treasurer in semester 2.
- I've engaged in and with college societies but never really have the time to commit due to other things I'm doing and my dislike for a majority of the social cliques these societies foster.
