What I actually built
A Koopa-shell battle bot using an ESP32, PlayStation controller, improvised armour and a deliberately stubborn circular body.
What happened
Competed in the inaugural Patch Robot Wars and survived both rounds.
What I learned
- Mechanical resilience can beat elaborate offensive plans.
- Cardboard from a pizza box is sometimes part of the final architecture.
